A magpie and his friend were photographed shamelessly fucking in the backyard of Australia.

The funny video resurfaced in 2016 and was shared on Reddit on Monday, showing that it takes some time for the magpie to dive and hang upside down on the towel.

But his curious partner decided to destroy his calm by pecking at the shivering bird playfully, until he managed to coax him down.

On Monday, a picture of a magpie hanging upside down on a towel in an Australian backyard reappeared on Reddit

After a brief confrontation, the two stared at each other and then parted ways peacefully.

This unique Australian footage caught the attention of laughing social media users who questioned whether the bird thought it might be a bat.

One user wrote: "I temporarily forgot what animal he was there."

The lively footage captured the appearance of another magpie, brazenly ruining the tranquility of the calming bird

"Just watched the new Batman movie," another person joked.

'It's more like'f*** off kevin, I am a bat',' added.

This video shows the calmer side of this notorious aggressive bird, known for its vicious attacks on cyclists and joggers.

Last month, a man was hiking through Thornleigh Gully in Mount Annan, southwest of Sydney, when a magpie launched a series of air strikes.

A person named Brian wrote: "When I was suddenly attacked, I was alone at noon walking quietly on a path that I used many times a day."

"I fell to the ground and cut my knee."

Reddit users are amused by the unique Australian footage, questioning whether the magpie thinks it might be a bat

"After a while, I got up and walked away, and the magpie swooped in again. In order to leave without further attack, my partner took an elevator home.

This suburb is home to the Australian Botanic Gardens and has several acres of parkland. There have been reports of magpies swooping in this area many times this season.

In 2021, more than 4,500 magpie attacks were reported on the website across Australia.

The magpie swoop season lasts from spring to summer, and native Australian birds protect their nesting territory.
