Why do new towels never dry?
If you like luxury towels, you will know how wonderful it is to wrap yourself in a brand new, fluffy towel. But they don’t seem to make you dry, they seem to be just moving water! In fact, your new bath towel has a "break-in period" before it reaches maximum softness and water absorption. In fact, your towel may require up to three complete washing cycles to actually absorb water as designed. Before leaving the factory, the towels are treated with a silicone surface to make them soft, so that when we go to the store to deal with them, it gives people an illusion of softness. (Sounds like a transaction standard issue to me).
Why do things with tomatoes in it dye so much?
The tannins in tomatoes can easily stain fabrics. If the stain is caused by ketchup, one of the ingredients of ketchup is oil. The good news is that you can delete it. If the fabric is washable, pass cold water through the back of the stain as soon as possible, but not the front of the stain, as this will only make the situation worse. Rub the liquid washing powder into the dyed part of the fabric from the outside to the inside with a gentle circular motion.
If the clothes are white, use a mild bleach, such as hydrogen peroxide or white vinegar, and then apply it with a sponge, lemon juice, or detergent spray or gel. Rinse and wash normally. Before drying, put the stain in the light and check it carefully to see if the stain has disappeared, because once the stain dries, they are usually permanent. (Why do I always forget the apron hanging behind the door?)
Can a fan really cool the air?
The fan actually adds extra kinetic energy to the air, heating the air slightly! The fan did not actually cool the room. Because of the increased evaporation on our skin, they only make humans feel cool. Turning on the fan in an empty room will not lower the temperature-it will only increase your electricity bill. (Or does it consume more energy every time you turn it on and off? Hmm.)

They were not originally used to help people blow their noses. Kleenex began in World War I, when its parent company Kimberly-Clark invented it as a paper filter for gas masks. (Maybe people sneer at them when they take out the filters and think, why not? I'm going to throw it away anyway!)
Propane and butane gases are odorless, just like natural gas. To detect any leaks, a strong, unpleasant substance is added to the gas. The smell when it leaks is similar to that of rotten eggs. (Rather than being blown out by gas, it is better to be knocked down by the smell!)
Why do we get goose bumps?
The small muscles attached to the individual's body hair contract, causing the hair to stand up. We inherited this from our ancestors, partly because our (at the time) body hair coat could capture the air below it to retain heat. It also makes our ancestors look bigger than they really are, and helps defend against predators. Because modern people have less body hair, goose bumps no longer make us look scarier! (Attention, you furry men!)
Spilled your red wine? Dangling on some white!
White wine contains an enzyme that can neutralize stains caused by red wine, making it easier to remove stains. Just pour some white wine on the red wine stain, then use a clean damp cloth to gently blot the stain. (People will think you are crazy to waste more wine!)
