The lingerie retailer has moved to a larger premises in the Gateshead shopping centre - and is offering a free festival towel to celebrate for those who spend more than £50

A lingerie retailer is set to launch a new and relocated store in the Metrocentre.

Boux Avenue has moved to the shopping centre's lower mall and into a larger premises. And to celebrate its opening today (Thursday June 9), shoppers who spend more than £50 are being offered a free festival towel.

The offer runs until June 12. The London brand, which is owned by retail giant Theo Paphitis from Dragon's Den, was launched in 2011 and has 28 stores across the UK, including the one in the Metrocentre.

A Boux Avenue spokesperson said: "We've enjoyed a successful relationship with the Metrocentre for the past 11 years and are excited to launch our new store during this exciting time for the centre, along with all of their upcoming updates and developments. We are looking forward to welcoming customers into our new store, and will be offering a free festival towel with £50 spend from June 9 - 12, while stocks last.

"Customers will be inspired by our latest summer collection with a key focus on fit, with lingerie and swimwear available in cup sizes up to a G cup; as well unique shapes & styles across the whole collection, including exclusively designed embroidery and trending colour options (plus, take advantage of our expert fitting experience)... making Boux Avenue the ultimate destination to find your perfect summer fit!"
