ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- An adoption special will be taking place this weekend at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA.

According to a release, Bounty Paper Towels has teamed up with Best Friends Animal Society network partners to offer special adoption fees for adult cats and dogs.

CASPCA says the adoption fee will be $25 between Friday and Sunday this week. There may some exclusions.

“We are excited about the opportunity to place more animals in caring homes through this partnership,” said Angie Gunter, CEO of the CASPCA. “We’re hoping the reduced adoption fee will encourage those interested in adopting to consider welcoming an adult dog or cat into their home this weekend.” 

All of the animals that are available for adoption are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on their age-appropriate vaccinations.
