WARSAW — Multiple fire departments responded to a fire at Wildman Business Group in Warsaw over the weekend.

At 3:28 a.m. Saturday, July 23, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory responded to an alarm at 800 S. Buffalo St., Wildman’s location. Upon making entry into the building, firefighters saw a light haze.

According to WWFT Public Information Officer Max Kinsey, while advancing further into the structure, a fire was discovered on the building’s west side.

Crews kept the fire contained to bags of clothes and towels. The fire’s cause is still under investigation.

Winona Lake and Plain Township Fire Departments were called to the scene. Silver Lake Fire Department assisted in bringing fans to help ventilate the building.

Damage was estimated to be about $100,000.
